When era of industrial development begun in post independence, emphasizing the needs of the industries particularly Sugar Mills, Cement factories, Late Shri Ishwarbhai Patel, the father of Shri Bhanubhai Patel Chairman & Managing Director of Elecon Engineering Company started the business of supplying various Machines & their parts to these Industries in the name & style of "Milling Trading " in the year 1956, the company was formed to take over the business of import trading of machinery & spares within India.

The beginning of the trading house has been one of the silver leaf in the overall growth of the entire Patel Family industries and on its excellent performance it was felt by Shri Bhanubhai Patel & late Shri Shapurbhai, sons of late Shri Ishwarbhai Patel to go into also manufacturing activities which guided them to put up elevators & conveyers company. Subsequently considering the overall prospects Shri Bhanubhai & Late Shri Shapurbhai have come out with a flagship company known as Elecon Engineering Co. Ltd.

Milling Trading Co. Pvt. Ltd. continued to be the marketing organization having branches all over India employing Sales & Service Personnel for promoting marketing of products manufactured by their Principals which includes Material Handling division and Gear division of Elecon Engineering Co. Ltd., Eimco Elecon (India) Ltd. as well as Power Build Ltd. It did represent in past PWH Materials Handling Limited for marketing their product & projects.

Milling Trading Co. Pvt. Ltd. functioning as one of the prime marketing organization with the full infrastructure with opening of various branches all over in India and running successfully in support to principals all being Heavy Engineering units, thought it advisable to change name of company to Emtici Engineering Limited.

Over and above the selling activity, we are carrying out for our principal, servicing activity. The Company is also giving After Sales Service during warranty period as well as paid services Post Warranty Period as per the needs of various clients of our principals.

Somewhere in 1985 we took on hand fabrication and erection activity in respect of Coal Handling Plant to be constructed at Nasik Thermal Power Station under Maharashtra State Electricity board (MSEB). Thereafter we continued to take work of fabrication and erection job from Elecon Engg. Co. Ltd. and PWH material Handling Limited present job sites are being at Wanakbori, Ennore, and North Madras.

EMTICI Campus is also having cluster of companies providing various services like manufacture of ferrous non-ferrous castings, providing machining facility, providing heat treatment facility, providing computer services, providing wooden boxes for packing the products of the principal as well as catering to the needs of other small scale & medium scale industries.
